42-24 is an authorised Networking Tasmania (NTIII) provider for the supply of connection services and Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS).

What is Networking Tasmania (NTIII)?

NTIII provides an extensive range of innovative, high-quality services that safeguard the Tasmanian Government's information assets and IT applications, and secure information flows within organisations and to the public. It provides a range of proactively managed end-to-end wide-area network services, including managed network services, connection services, internet gateway and filtering services and government directory services.

Connection Services are designed to meet the needs of customers with options such as:

  • Dark fibre
  • Ethernet over fibre
  • NBN (both fixed and wireless)
  • Microwave radio

Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS) is the provision of physical data centre facilities and infrastructure to individual customers.

Who can use NTIII services?

  • State Government customers
  • State Government inner budget department and all other State Government-owned companies, including GBEs.
  • Where approved by the Contract Authority, an eligible non-government organisations carrying out business in, or related to, Tasmania, which requires an NTIII service.
  • Eligible non-government organisation means a body (including a private school) that is:
    • Directly or indirectly, partially or entirely, funded by the Commonwealth or the State Government
    • Non-profit making
