Carriage services are provided on a highly available statewide telecommunications network, operated and maintained 24/7 by 42-24’s NOC and statewide field workforce.
Our telecommunications network provides operational, commercial and business services to support both the Tasmanian electricity system, as well as the diverse needs of commercial customers. This network currently comprises a fully redundant statewide microwave radio backbone complemented by local loops and spur routes, and a statewide geographically diverse optical fibre network along the transmission line routes and the distribution corridors.
