Our Ethernet gives carriers and services providers the power to increase their network reach and addressable customer base.
42-24 Ethernet is a high-capacity optical fibre-based Layer-2 switched transmission service.
We offer a large range of bandwidth options, from 10 Mbps up to 10 Gbps full duplex.
Statewide and Interstate Coverage
42-24’s extensive carrier grade fibre network connects all major centres in Tasmania (Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, Queenstown and Rosebery), as well as an interstate connection between Hobart and Melbourne’s CBD.
All 42-24 Ethernet services comply with international standards set out by the Metro Ethernet Forum.
Ethernet access is provided as a port per service configuration, with trunking options available upon request. 42-24 provides carrier grade switching equipment and rack enclosures with all Ethernet services.
42-24 Ethernet services are designed to support critical, real-time applications.
